Crews are still working to clear debris from roadways and restore power.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">So far, the National Weather Service office in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/oklahoma\/norman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Norman<\/a>, Oklahoma, said survey teams found damage consistent with at least an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/how-are-tornadoes-rated-the-enhanced-fujita-scale-explained\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EF-2 tornado<\/a> in Valley Book, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/oklahoma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oklahoma<\/a>. Forecasters say they believe at least seven tornadoes touched down in the region, but that number could rise to 12 or 13.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/how-to-watch-fox-weather-on-tv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>HOW TO WATCH FOX WEATHER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 data-v-4e81e892=\"\">Oklahoma City again in bull\u2019s-eye for severe weather on Sunday<\/h2>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" Weather)<\/strong><\/figcaption><hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The Oklahoma City area has already been hit hard by severe weather, and the threat will continue throughout the day on Sunday and into the start of the new workweek on Monday.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">NOAA\u2019s Storm Prediction Center (SPC) says severe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/thunderstorms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thunderstorms<\/a> will be possible across a wide area of the southern and central Plains.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">More than 10 million people from Texas through Oklahoma and into portions of southwestern <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/missouri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Missouri<\/a> and northwestern <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/arkansas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arkansas<\/a> have been placed in a Level 2 out of 5 risk on the SPC\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/weather-geek-speak-severe-weather-categories-explained\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">5-point severe thunderstorm risk scale<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">This includes cities such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/texas\/dallas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dallas<\/a>, Oklahoma City and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/oklahoma\/tulsa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tulsa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">However, there is a higher storm threat across portions of North Texas and southeastern Oklahoma on Sunday, and that region has been placed in a Level 3 out of 5 risk.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">This higher threat zone includes cities like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/texas\/sherman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sherman<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/texas\/denison\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Denison<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/texas\/gainesville\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Gainesville<\/a> in Texas, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/oklahoma\/ardmore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ardmore<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/oklahoma\/ada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ada<\/a> in Oklahoma.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a of strong to severe thunderstorms are expected to move across the region through Sunday night, some of which could produce tornadoes, large <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/hail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hail<\/a> and damaging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/wind\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wind<\/a> gusts.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Damaging winds and large hail have already pounded the region, with 80-mph wind gusts being reported in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/oklahoma\/checotah\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Checotah<\/u><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/oklahoma\/adair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Adair<\/u><\/a> in Oklahoma during the severe weather late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/extreme-weather\/tornadoes-hit-large-cities-this-is-why\" threat of severe weather grows to cover a larger area of the central U.S.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Powerful storms are possible in cities like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/texas\/dallas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dallas<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/texas\/houston\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Houston<\/a> in Texas, as well as Oklahoma City and Tulsa in Oklahoma and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/missouri\/st-louis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">St. Louis<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/missouri\/kansas-city\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kansas City<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/missouri\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Missouri<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">However, the SPC placed nearly 2 million people from East Texas through eastern Oklahoma, western <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/arkansas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Arkansas<\/a> and southwestern Missouri in a Level 3 out of 5 risk for severe weather.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Thunderstorms that develop on Monday will be capable of producing tornadoes, large hail and damaging wind gusts.<\/p>\n<div
