He suggested that some on Wall Street foresee a Harris victory because of a surprising new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/11\/02\/harris-leading-trump-iowa-poll-presidential-election-.html\">poll<\/a> released this weekend that showed Harris ahead in Iowa, a traditionally red state that seemed like a shoo-in for former President Donald Trump, who won the state during the past two elections. The poll showed Harris leading Trump 47% to 44%, and Cramer said it has led investors to question whether other red states could turn blue.<\/p>\n<p>He pointed to several sectors that pulled ahead on Monday, including home builders <a id=\"107279520\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/\" type=\"security\" brand=\"cnbc\" section=\"[object Object]\" contentclassification=\"\">DR Horton<\/a>, <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-5\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/LEN\/\">Lennar<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-6\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/TOL\/\">Toll Brothers<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span>, which may have been sent higher as investors anticipated the effects of Harris&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/08\/20\/what-to-know-about-harris-affordable-housing-economic-proposals.html\">proposed<\/a> tax breaks and aid for first-time home buyers. Companies that rely heavily on imports \u2014 like alcohol seller <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-8\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/STZ\/\">Constellation Brands<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> or cosmetics company <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-9\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/ELF\/\">E.l.f. Beauty<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> \u2014 may have rallied at the prospect of a Harris administration because of the vice president&#8217;s more moderate trade stance compared to her opponent, who has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/09\/11\/harris-vs-trump-on-china-debate-highlights-on-trade-and-tariffs.html\">vowed<\/a> to implement dramatic trade duties across industries, Cramer said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, hyperscaler stocks like <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-11\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/AMZN\/\">Amazon<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"NewsShowArticle-QuoteInBody-12\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/GOOGL\/\">Alphabet<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> traded lower, he added. Cramer said Wall Street could suspect that Harris will continue the Biden administration&#8217;s legacy of strong antitrust law enforcement, perhaps keeping on officials like Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan, who has been tough on big business.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I like the idea that you can now get a jump on what traders think,&#8221; he said. &#8220;Then again, I don&#8217;t regard traders as the best prognosticators of anything other than what other, slower traders might do within the next day or two \u2014 just not worth changing our portfolio over.
