And we&#8217;ll get through this together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Officials said they anticipated red flag warning fire conditions to end by 6 p.m. Thursday, but cautioned that high winds are expected to return early next week.<\/p>\n<p>Conditions this dangerous \u2014 gusty, dry and widespread \u2014 haven&#8217;t been seen since 2020, according to the National Weather Service. That includes all programs at Webster Elementary, Malibu Elementary, Malibu Middle and Malibu High. We get this every year, but not to the point where it went over the ridge,\u201d she added, surprised that the fire had jumped Highway 118.<\/p>\n<p>Helicopters dropped water on the flames Wednesday afternoon in an effort to save houses on hillsides in Camarillo. City.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Emergency Management Agency <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fema.gov\/press-release\/20241106\/fema-fire-management-assistance-granted-mountain-fire\" target=\"_blank\" data-cms-ai=\"0\" rel=\"noopener\">announced Wednesday afternoon<\/a> that it had authorized the use of federal dollars to aid California in fighting the Mountain Fire.
