METEOROLOGIST KELLIANNE KLASS IS HERE NOW WITH THE UPDATE. YEAH. RIGHT NOW RAPHAEL IS A MAJOR CATEGORY THREE HURRICANE IN THE GULF OF MEXICO WITH WINDS OF 120MPH. IT IS EXPECTED TO WEAKEN THROUGHOUT THE DAY TODAY AND TOMORROW, EVENTUALLY TO A CATEGORY ONE HURRICANE AT THE SAME TIME, THOUGH, IT BEGINS TO CURVE UP TOWARDS THE NORTHWEST TO THE NORTH, ALMOST LIKE IT\u2019S GOING TO TRY TO MOVE TOWARDS THE NORTHERN GULF COAST. BUT THEN IT QUICKLY DIVES DOWN TO THE SOUTH INTO THE BAY OF CAMPECHE AS IT CONTINUES TO GRADUALLY WEAKEN TO A REMNANT LOW. SO THIS IS JUST GOING TO DO A LITTLE LOOP THROUGHOUT THE GULF OF MEXICO AND MOVE INTO THE BAY OF CAMPECHE. SO THIS IS NOT GOING TO IMPACT US HERE IN CENTRAL FLORIDA. AND THEN A LITTLE BIT CLOSER IN PUERTO RICO. WE DO HAVE A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE PRODUCING SOME DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. LOW CHANCE OF DEVELOPMENT IN THE NEXT TWO AND SEVEN DAYS. BACK AT HOME. WE\u2019RE STARTING OFF WITH SOME RAINFALL FOR SOME OF OUR CENTRAL FLORIDA LOCATIONS.
