improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Incorporating just 10 to 20 additional minutes of exercise per day could equate to a 10% reduction in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/health\/heart-health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heart disease risk<\/a>, the release stated.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/health\/high-blood-pressure-alzheimers-disease-could-go-hand-hand-study-finds\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><u>HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND ALZHEIMER\u2019S DISEASE COULD GO HAND IN HAND, STUDY FINDS<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our findings suggest that, for most people, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/category\/fitness-and-wellbeing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">exercise is key<\/a> to reducing blood pressure, rather than less strenuous forms of movement, such as walking,&#8221; Dr. Jo Blodgett, first author of the study from UCL Surgery &amp; Interventional Science and the Institute of Sport, Exercise &amp; Health, said in the release.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The good news is that whatever your physical ability, it doesn\u2019t take long to have a positive effect on blood pressure,&#8221; she continued.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>IMAGE<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What\u2019s unique about our exercise variable is that it includes all exercise-like activities, from climbing the stairs to a short cycling errand, many of which can be integrated into daily routines.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>While walking did have some positive effects, the researcher noted, exercises that &#8220;put more demand on the cardiovascular system&#8221;
