Fake tan doesn\u2019t last and real tan doesn\u2019t last but which one\u2019s safer?\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The Brit says she\u2019s now making it her mission for people to be aware of the dangers of sun beds and other forms of UV exposure.  <span class=\"credit\">Kennedy News and Media<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Turner says she first sought medical treatment after experiencing pain in her right shoulder last December. <\/p>\n<p>Doctors initially believed it to be a torn ligament but the accountant became concerned weeks later when she noticed a slight swelling on her shoulder blade. <\/p>\n<p>After having an MRI scan, Turner was referred to a sarcoma unit and faced an agonizing wait over Christmas waiting for a diagnosis. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was awful, it was just horrendous, I was expecting the worst,\u201d she recalled. \u201cI went down Google rabbit holes. It\u2019s the worst thing you can do when you\u2019ve got a potential diagnosis hanging over you. I was in the depths of despair.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Sadly, Turner\u2019s worst fears were confirmed. She had cancer \u2014 and it was advanced. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was just winded. It threw me sideways, I was just shocked,\u201d she emotionally declared. \u201cI came away knowing it was stage four.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cI was just winded.
