Tuskegee university identified the victim as &#8220;a non-university individual&#8221; in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuskegee.edu\/news\/statement-regarding-campus-incident\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A total of 16 people were injured in the incident, including 12 who were shot and taken to local hospitals for treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;Four other individuals sustained injuries that were not related to gunfire over the course of the incident,&#8221; ALEA said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting at this time.
