AI called The Entity. <\/p>\n<p>Joining Cruise and Bassett, 66, in the upcoming film includes Hayley Atwell as Grace, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis, Esai Morales as Gabriel, Pom Klementieff\u00a0as Paris, and Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge. <\/p>\n<p>New cast members include Hannah Waddingham, Nick Offerman, Katy O\u2019Brian, Holt href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/07\/05\/mission-impossible-dead-reckoning-part-one-review\/\">first \u201cDead Reckoning\u201d <\/a>underperformed at the box office, making $570 million on a $291 million budget after going up against the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/07\/24\/the-success-of-barbenheimer-means-nothing-for-the-movies\/\">\u201cBarbenheimer\u201d <\/a>phenomenon in July href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/light-the-fuse-a-mission-impossible-podcast\/id1404667823\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cLight the Fuse\u201d podcast<\/a>\u00a0that fans can\u2019t believe everything they hear.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me tell you, I\u2019ve been working with Tom Cruise for 15 years and I cannot tell you the number of times I\u2019ve been standing next to the man, witnessed an event and then read about it in the trades the next day and none of what they describe is actually true,\u201d the director
