Australia&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.AXJO\/\">S&amp;P\/ASX 200<\/a> was 0.38% lower. South Korea&#8217;s <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"LiveBlogArticle-QuoteInBody-3\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.KS11\/\">Kospi<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> fell by 0.88%, while the Kosdaq Index dropped 1.77%. <\/p>\n<p>Japan&#8217;s <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"LiveBlogArticle-QuoteInBody-4\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.N225\/\">Nikkei 225<\/a><span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"\/><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> added 0.54% while the Topix rose 0.97%. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"group\">\n<p>Traders in Asia-Pacific will be monitoring a swathe of economic data in the region, including a survey from the National Australia Bank on business conditions, Indonesia&#8217;s retail sales in September, and India&#8217;s consumer price index for October.<\/p>\n<p>Oil cartel OPEC is also set to release its monthly oil market report later in the day.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.DJI\/\">Dow Jones Industrial Average<\/a>\u00a0surged more than 300 points on Monday and closed at a record high as the benchmark&#8217;s postelection rally pressed forward.<\/p>\n<p>The 30-stock Dow gained 304 points, or 0.69%, to 44,293.69. It&#8217;s rise brought the index above 44,000 for the first time. The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.SPX\/\">S&amp;P 500<\/a>\u00a0added 0.1% to end the day at 6,001.35 and also earned a record close by surpassing 6,000 for the first time. However, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/.IXIC\/\">Nasdaq Composite<\/a>\u00a0hovered near the flatline, up 0.06% to 19,298.76.<\/p>\n<p>Bitcoin surged above $87,000, boosted by hopes of deregulation as well.
