Musk <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-id=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1855565689530331535\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1855565689530331535\" target=\"_blank\">wrote on X<\/a> that the show has been \u201cdying slowly for years, as they become increasingly out of touch with reality.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\t\u201cTheir last-ditch effort to cheat the equal airtime requirements and prop up Kamala before the election only helped sink her campaign further,\u201d he added, referencing Vice President Kamala Harris\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/tv-movies\/tv-movie-news\/snl-cold-open-real-kamala-harris-gives-her-likeness-pep-talk-trump-1235151489\/\">appearance on the show<\/a> before Election Day. Musk, one of Trump\u2019s mega-donors during his campaign,\u00a0is expected to receive a colossal financial windfall under the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-features\/elon-musk-trump-tax-break-election-2024-1235141380\/\">pro-corporate policies<\/a>\u00a0of a second Trump administration. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tIn a since-deleted TikTok, Fineman responded to Musk slamming the late-night show. \u201cI just saw some news article about\u00a0Elon Musk\u00a0being like butt-hurt about\u00a0<em>SNL<\/em>\u00a0and his impression, but I\u2019m, like, you\u2019re clearly watching the show. Like, what are you talking about?\u201d Fineman fired back. \u201cAnd I\u2019m like, you know what? I\u2019m gonna come out and say at long last that I\u2019m the cast member that he made cry. And he\u2019s the host that made someone cry.
