Alongside a new Camera Control setting for iPhone 16 users, the third 18.2 developer beta features a new customizable tab bar for the TV app on iPad, and a much-needed update to the video playback UI in the Photos app. Watch our hands-on video walkthrough for the details.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-977775\"\/><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-s-new-in-ios-18-2-beta-3\">What\u2019s new in iOS 18.2 beta 3?<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Camera Control \u2013 Require Screen On <\/h3>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2024\/11\/11\/ios-18-2-beta-3-camera-control-toggle\/\">explained<\/a> by <em>9to5Mac<\/em> editor-in-chief Chance Miller, iOS 18.2 beta 3 includes a new setting for iPhone 16 users related to Camera Control. New details on participating airlines, functionality, and device compatibility were noted via a press release. It\u2019s largely expected that this and other flagship iOS 18.2 features like ChatGPT integration, <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2024\/11\/07\/ios-182-release-date-when-to-expect-apples-new-features\/\">will launch next month<\/a>, perhaps as early as <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5mac.com\/2024\/11\/03\/gurman-ios-18-2-with-releasing-slightly-earlier-than-usual\/\">the week of December 2nd<\/a>. <\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">iPadOS 18.2 beta 3 Customizable Tab Bar for TV app<\/h3>\n<p>Lastly, there\u2019s a new customizable tab bar for the TV app in iPadOS 18.2 beta 3. These customizable tab bars aren\u2019t new, as apps like Music have had once since iOS 18 launched.
