Although the menu is 20% smaller, it features seven new items, including bacon-wrapped sea scallops, a lobster bisque and some new pasta dishes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">It also includes the reintroduction of the chain\u2019s beloved hush puppies, which have been missing from its menu in recent years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\"> \u201cThere was a social media riot over us taking off the hush puppies a few years ago. So that is coming back,\u201d said Adamolekun.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Hush puppies may be back on the menu, but another longtime item has vanished: the chain\u2019s famous Ultimate Endless Shrimp promotion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Read on to learn more about Red Lobster\u2019s new menu. Since I was in college I love the hush puppies. I\u2019m glad they\u2019re back,\u201d the 3rd hour of TODAY co-host said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Red Lobster is also now giving customers the ability to mix and match their own seafood meal with the launch of Create your Own Ultimate Feast, which includes two premium picks (like Maine Lobster Tail or Snow Crab Legs) and two classics (like Walt\u2019s Favorite Shrimp and Garlic Shrimp Scampi).<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">As far as drinks go, Red Lobster is bringing back seasonal sips such as its \u201cfan-favorite\u201d sparkling\u00a0Snowglobe Sangria, Ruby Mule and Mocha Espresso Martini, for a limited time.<\/p>\n<div class=\"summary-box\" data-testid=\"summary-box\">\n<div class=\"summary-box__content\">\n<h2 class=\"summary-box__headline\">All the new menu items<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"summary-box__items\">\n<li>Lobster Pappardelle<\/li>\n<li>Pasta Bacon Wrapped Sea Scallops<\/li>\n<li>Lobster Bisque<\/li>\n<li>Lemon Basil Mahi<\/li>\n<li>Simply Prepared Mahi<\/li>\n<li>Parmesan-Crusted Chicken<\/li>\n<li>Roasted Asparagus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"\">No more unlimited shrimp<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">One promotion now gone as part of the revamping? The chain\u2019s famous Ultimate Endless Shrimp, which has inspired many TikTok users to film themselves <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@nushnan\/video\/7333082312768294190\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gorging on the crustaceans.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Adamolekun opted to remove the unlimited shrimp campaign \u201cbecause I know how to do math,\u201d he joked. He has previously commented that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/food\/restaurants\/red-lobster-ceo-endless-shrimp-promo-chaos-rcna174007\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the promotion cost the chain money.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"\">However, when asked about whether it could ever return, he said anything is possible.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"\">Adjustments to the tartar sauce after TikTok fan feedback<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">Adamolekun has also heard the complaints of TikTok users griping about the restaurant\u2019s tartar sauce recipe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\u201cIt\u2019s being fixed. I hear you, TikTok. &#8230; It\u2019s going to be a better version, in my estimation, because we did try the old one and this new one, this new one\u2019s better,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"\">Lobsterfest is still a go<\/h2>\n<p class=\"\">With all the menu changes, diners may worry Red Lobster will ax Lobsterfest, the restaurant\u2019s annual lobster bonanza featuring special lobster dishes not available year-round.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">But they needn\u2019t be concerned, said Adamolekun. Not only is Lobsterfest still a go, diners can expect it to be an even bigger event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"endmark\">\u201cThis year we want to make (Lobsterfest) bigger and better than ever. You know what we\u2019re calling it?
