Zero thoughts,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/sexiest-man-alive-2024-john-krasinski-reveal-8743226\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told the magazine<\/a> in his cover story, adding, \u201cYou guys have really raised the bar for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>John Krasinski was named Blunt\u2019s reaction to the honor, Krasinski said she was \u201cvery excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was a lot of joy involved in me telling her,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Additional men featured in this year\u2019s issue include music producer <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/11\/12\/celebrity-news\/selena-gomez-gushes-over-benny-blanco-after-he-lands-in-peoples-sexiest-man-alive-issue\/\">Benny Blanco<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/sexiest-man-alive-2024-new-girl-cast-reunion-8740945\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the male stars of \u201cNew Girl\u201d<\/a> \u2014 Max Greenfield, Jake Johnson, Damon Wayans Jr. and Lamorne Morris. <\/p>\n<p>Last year, actor <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/11\/08\/celebrity-news\/patrick-dempsey-named-people-magazines-sexiest-man-alive\/\">Patrick Dempsey took the top spot<\/a>, telling the outlet he was excited to have \u201cthe platform to use it for something positive\u201d \u2014 like raising awareness for the Dempsey Center.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGrey\u2019s Anatomy\u201d alum, 58, has been providing free programs, counseling and support for cancer patients through the care center since founding it in 2008. <a href=\"https:\/\/support.dempseycenter.org\/index.cfm?fuseaction=cms.page&amp;id=1781&amp;eventID=546#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Over $1.8 million <\/a>was raised for those impacted by cancer in 2023 alone.<\/p>\n<p>While the Hollywood heartthrob also admitted that scoring the honor did, in fact, help boost his ego, he <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/patrick-dempsey-jokes-sexiest-man-alive-made-him-more-anxiety-ridden-exclusive-8740414#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">confessed in this year\u2019s \u201cSexiest Man Alive\u201d issue <\/a>that it made him \u201cmore anxiety-ridden.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Patrick Dempsey was named People\u2019s \u201cSexiest Man Alive\u201d in 2023.  <span class=\"credit\">People Magazine \/ CARTER SMITH<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Chris Evans won the title in 2022.  <span class=\"credit\">People<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Matt Damon was given the \u201cSexiest Man Alive\u201d title in 2007. <span class=\"credit\">AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Bradley Cooper landed the honor in 2011.  <span class=\"credit\">AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Fellow actor Chris Evans echoed those sentiments in 2022 when<a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/11\/08\/chris-evans-named-people-magazines-sexiest-man-alive\/\"> he was named the \u201cSexiest Man Alive\u201d<\/a> \u2014 but confirmed his close friends kept him in check from developing too big of an ego at the time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReally this will just be a point of bullying,\u201d he joked. \u201cIt\u2019s ripe for harassment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/11\/10\/paul-rudd-named-people-magazine-2021s-sexiest-man-alive\/\">People named Paul Rudd the \u201cSexiest Man Alive\u201d<\/a> but he, too, was nervous about the laughs he would get from the title.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not false humility,\u201d he assured the outlet. \u201cThere are so many people that should get this before me.\u201d <\/p>\n<div
