You always hear about it happening to someone else.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coulier confirmed that he started chemo two weeks into his diagnosis. He shaved his head which he revealed during his Today interview. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou hear chemo, and it scares the daylights out of you,\u201d he said. \u201cThe first round was pretty intense because you don\u2019t know what to expect. You don\u2019t know how you\u2019re going to feel. Is this going to hit me immediately? Is it going to be devastating? There (are) days where I feel unbelievable,\u201d he shared, adding, \u201cThen there\u2019s other days where \u2026 I\u2019m just going to lay down and let this be what it\u2019s going to be.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Dave Coulier in \u201cFull House\u201d in 1998. <span class=\"credit\">ABC<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He also revealed that his wife of ten years, Melissa Bring Coulier, has been supportive since his diagnosis. Coulier said she\u00a0\u201corganized (his) entire life, from nutrition to the doctor\u2019s appointments to the pills.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s got stuff color-coded. It\u2019s pretty great,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Melissa Bring Coulier and Dave Coulier at the 2016 TV Land Icon Awards. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for TV Land<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Coulier, who has a 33-year-old son, Luc, with his wife, further detailed his cancer battle in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/dave-coulier-non-hodgkin-lymphoma-exclusive-8743523?taid=6734a691847a85000131b071&amp;utm_campaign=peoplemagazine&amp;utm_content=new&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">People<\/a>. He said doctors initially told him his cancer is \u201cvery aggressive\u201d and he\u2019s had \u201cgood days\u201d and \u201cbad days\u201d since starting chemo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome days are nauseous and dizzy, and then there\u2019s other days where the steroids kick in, and I feel like I have a ton of energy,\u201d he continued. \u201cI actually skated yesterday with some friends here in Detroit.
