Her cousin, Danielle Tori-Singh, created a GoFundMe on Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy cousin Chanel is missing,\u201d wrote Tori-Singh. <\/p>\n<p>Tori-Singh said the LAPD performed two wellness checks at Banks\u2019 home and she was not there either time. <\/p>\n<p>But on Wednesday, the LAPD told a different story. They reported that Banks had been found safe in Texas on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Tori-Singh called the report \u201cfake news\u201d and said that her cousin was still missing. She claimed that a woman found in Texas with Banks\u2019 expired New York identification card was not actually her cousin. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have positively identified that that is not her,\u201d said Tori-Singh in an 8-minute Facebook video recorded from her car. \u201cI\u2019ve known her for 31 years.
