The moment of full moon occurs at 4:28 p.m. EST (2128 GMT) on Friday, but <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/55-earths-moon-formation-composition-and-orbit.html\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/55-earths-moon-formation-composition-and-orbit.html\">the moon<\/a> will appear full for most observers for a day or two prior to the moment of exact fullness.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"hawk-nest\" data-block-type=\"embed\" data-render-type=\"fte\" data-skip=\"dealsy\" data-widget-type=\"seasonal\"\/>\n<p>November&#8217;s <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/16830-full-moon-calendar.html\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/16830-full-moon-calendar.html\">full moon<\/a> joins another celestrial treat: the lovely <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/pleiades.html\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/pleiades.html\">Pleiades star cluster<\/a>, located just beside the moon in the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/17101-taurus-constellation.html\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/17101-taurus-constellation.html\">Taurus constellation<\/a>. This dense cluster of stars, also known as the &#8220;Seven Sisters,&#8221; is one of the most popular sights of the night sky. It will be the brightest object in that direction and will be among the first &#8220;stars&#8221; out on Friday. It will set some 90 minutes after sunset.<\/p>\n<p><a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/48-saturn-the-solar-systems-major-ring-bearer.html\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/48-saturn-the-solar-systems-major-ring-bearer.html\">Saturn<\/a> will be high in the southern sky when the moon rises and will remain there, shining with a pale yellow glow, until it sets in the west well after midnight local time.<\/p>\n<p>Next up is <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/7-jupiter-largest-planet-solar-system.html\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/7-jupiter-largest-planet-solar-system.html\">Jupiter<\/a>, which will rise in the east some two hours after the moon.
