Wednesday night\u2019s season finale.<\/p>\n<p>Chapple followed franchise tradition by proposing with a custom Neil Lane Couture diamond ring, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/joan-vassos-engagement-ring-neil-lane-details-golden-bachelorette-exclusive-8745045\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-nyp-affiliate=\"true\">People reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo celebrate their shared future, I knew exactly the ring design that would perfectly symbolize Joan and Chock\u2019s undeniable connection,\u201d the famed jewelry designer told the outlet ahead of the big finale. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Joan Vassos got engaged to Chock Chapple during features a 4-carat emerald-cut center diamond with a tapered diamond baguette on each side.  <span class=\"credit\">The Golden Bachelorettye<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cThis ring\u2019s show-stopping beauty perfectly encapsulates Joan\u2019s journey as the first-ever Golden Bachelorette and I wish her and Chock nothing but the best as they move into the next phase of their relationship together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vassos\u2019 platinum ring features a handmade emerald-cut diamond set with two tapered diamond baguettes, which are lined with 56 round brilliant-cut diamonds.<\/p>\n<p>Lane told People he wanted to design something \u201cclassic\u201d for Vassos, 61, and he drew inspiration from her \u201csophistication,\u201d \u201celegance\u201d and \u201cintegrity,\u201d as well as the 1920s Art Deco era. <\/p>\n<p>According to the celebrity jeweler, Chapple, 60, fell in love with the ring as soon as he saw it.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The platinum ring also the energy that went into that ring.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chapple got down on one knee during Wednesday\u2019s finale and proposed to Vassos on the beach, professing his love for her and expressing his excitement for their future. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom our first date in Disneyland I thought I saw a future with you,\u201d Vassos said, <a
