Tropical Storm Warnings and Hurricane Watches have been issued for parts of Honduras. Tropical Storm Watches have been issued for parts of Nicaragua.<\/p>\n<h2 data-v-4e81e892=\"\">What&#8217;s the latest with Tropical Depression Nineteen?<\/h2>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/AL19_Stats.gif?v1\"\/><figcaption>This graphic shows the latest information on Tropical Depression Nineteen.<br \/><strong>(FOX Weather)<\/strong><\/figcaption><hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Tropical Depression Nineteen is located in the Caribbean Sea about 280 miles east of Isla Guanaja in Honduras. Its peak <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/wind\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">winds<\/a> are 35 mph, and it is slowly moving westward.<\/p>\n<h2 data-v-4e81e892=\"\">What&#8217;s the forecast for Tropical Depression Nineteen?<\/h2>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/AL19_Cone.png\"\/><figcaption>This graphic shows the forecast track for Tropical Depression Nineteen.<br \/><strong>(FOX Weather)<\/strong><\/figcaption><hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The NHC said Tropical Depression Nineteen will continue to move to the west on Thursday, taking it across the western Caribbean Sea. After that, the system is expected to stall and meander near the coast of Honduras on Friday and through the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div data-v-b8684aba=\"\">\n<div class=\"freeform-content\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100%\" src=\"https:\/\/media.foxweather.com\/weather\/AL19%20Rain%20QPF.png\"\/><figcaption>This graphic shows the rain forecast in the Caribbean between Thursday, Nov. 14, and Tuesday, Nov. 19.<br \/><strong>(FOX Weather)<\/strong><\/figcaption><hr\/>\n<p>\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2 data-v-4e81e892=\"\">Florida on alert as long-range forecasts indicate possible impacts from likely-Sara<\/h2>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Likely-Sara is forecast to meander around Central America through the weekend and into <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/mexico\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mexico<\/a>&#8216;s Yucat\u00e1n Peninsula into early next week as the steering currents remain light.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/why-is-atmospheric-pressure-so-important-to-the-forecast\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">High pressure<\/a> nudges in from the north and west over the weekend, and that more or less locks this thing down in the Caribbean into the early part of next week,&#8221; FOX Weather Meteorologist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/person\/o\/ian-oliver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ian Oliver<\/a> said. &#8220;There&#8217;s nowhere to go off to the north because \u2026 that high pressure acts like a wall. So this thing is stuck there \u2026 that&#8217;s why this (forecast) cone looks kind of funky at this point.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Meanwhile, the system can take advantage of the warm waters and low <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/wind-shear\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>wind shear<\/u><\/a> while it sits over water, though the storm may weaken some if it drifts over land.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The high pressure should begin to move around Tuesday or Wednesday next week, potentially unlocking the Gulf of Mexico.
