It also will have an exclusive advertising deal with the gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety. CNN was first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/11\/12\/media\/infowars-alex-jones-bid-auction-sandy-hook\/index.html\">to report<\/a> the humor web site had entered the bidding.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3hdy4jz001u3j6mnkdorgwd@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            The purchase acquires the company\u2019s intellectual property, including its website, customer lists and inventory and certain social media accounts, as well as the production equipment used to put Jones on the air. I\u2019m going to say, \u2018Where\u2019s your court order?\u2019\u201d he said.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3hesfn8002f3j6m3ry03pu0@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Robbie Parker, whose daughter Emilie was killed in the Sandy Hook shooting said, in part, \u201cThe world needs to see that having a platform does not mean you are above accountability \u2014 the dissolution of Alex Jones\u2019 assets and the death of Infowars is the justice we have long awaited and fought for.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3hez6du002n3j6mqrapzvt4@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Everything at Infowars, from the microphones to the email lists, was up for auction <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/06\/06\/media\/alex-jones-assets-sandy-hook\/index.html\">to help pay off<\/a> the nearly $1.5 billion Jones owes the Sandy Hook families after being found guilty of defamation for calling the 2012 massacre a hoax.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3hez6du002o3j6mzpg8nuv1@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Jones\u2019 allies had also placed bids, with one source telling CNN that one of those bids was in the \u201cseven figures\u201d range.
