The remnants will move into the Gulf of Mexico. An approaching <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/what-is-a-cold-front\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cold front<\/a> and its associated dip in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/what-is-the-jet-stream\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jet stream<\/a> will pull ex-Sara&#8217;s moisture toward the northern Gulf Coast where it will be pushed toward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/florida\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Florida<\/a> through midweek.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">The combination of a robust cold front and tropical moisture can produce strong <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/thunderstorms\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thunderstorms<\/a> with heavy rain. The combo system is forecast to initially impact <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/louisiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Louisiana<\/a>, where up to 3\u20135 inches of rain are possible. We\u2019ll watch for the possibility of some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/tornadoes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tornadoes<\/a> in the strongest cells as well.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Sara will be done with Central America by tomorrow, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/flood\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">flooding<\/a> will continue as two to more than three feet of rainfall drains downhill. An oddball system can always develop out in the Atlantic out of a non-tropical disturbance, but the odds of that happening get lower every day.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">A cold front pushing through Florida will usher in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/winter-weather\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">winter weather<\/a> regime and a clear change in the season.
