Depending on cloud cover, weather and visibility, people in Titusville to Melbourne Beach might see a nice streak\u00a0in the sky for each launch \u2014 particularly since this coastal area of Florida that&#8217;s home to NASA&#8217;s Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">If you&#8217;re keeping watch, Florida Space Coast&#8217;s has already broken the record of orbital rocket launches in a year, with the bulk of the 2024 missions from SpaceX. In 2023, SpaceX also helped break the record of rocket launches per year \u2014 contributing to the 72 launches that were completed near Cape Canaveral. As of Friday, Nov. 15, there have been 79 orbital rocket launches from the Space Coast in 2024.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">Below are suggestions on where to watch the rocket launch from this area and other things to know. And minutes after liftoff, there\u2019s typically a rumble. The best view to watch a rocket launch from the Space Coast is along the beach. However, visibility will depend on weather conditions and people should make sure not to block traffic or rights of way on bridges and to follow posted rules at beaches.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">If you are viewing the launch along the Indian River in Titusville from Space View Park or Parrish Park, look east directly across the river.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">If you are farther south along the Indian River, look northeast.<\/p>\n<p class=\"col-body mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words min-w-0\">Playalinda Beach or Canaveral National Seashore is the closest spot to view liftoff\u00a0because it is almost parallel to Launch Pad 39A.
