He documented the darkness for 12 days.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><strong>UTQIAGVIK, Alaska <\/strong>\u2013 America&#8217;s northernmost town is about to experience the annual phenomenon of polar night.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Starting at 1:27 p.m. AKST Monday, the <a href=\"https:\/\/foxweather.com\/category\/sun\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sun<\/a> will set for the final time this year in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/local-weather\/alaska\/utqiagvik\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Utqia\u0121vik<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/foxweather.com\/category\/alaska\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alaska<\/a>, plunging the town into 64 days of complete darkness.
