It is based on a story by the filmmaker while the screenplay is by David Koepp, whose previous work with Spielberg includes the scripts for\u00a0<em>Jurassic Park<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Lost World: Jurassic Park<\/em>,\u00a0<em>War of the Worlds<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tLongtime Spielberg associate Kristie Macosko Krieger (<em>The Fabelmans, West Side Story<\/em>) is producing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tUniversal has set a May 15, 2026 release date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tO\u2019Connor is currently in the awards season mix with <em>Challengers<\/em>, the tennis drama directed by Luca Guadagnino and which also starred Zendaya and Mike Faist.
