{"id":127896,"date":"2024-11-20T04:31:58","date_gmt":"2024-11-19T21:31:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=127896"},"modified":"2024-11-20T04:31:58","modified_gmt":"2024-11-19T21:31:58","slug":"driver-who-caused-horrific-fatal-crash-in-clay-suffered-a-medical-episode-troopers-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=127896","title":{"rendered":"Driver who caused horrific fatal crash in Clay suffered a medical episode, troopers say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"7P7DEL7LIRDLPPEDLTAHR2CFXM\">Syracuse, N.Y. \u2014 A man who drove at a high speed through a red light in Clay last month, colliding with another car, killing himself and another person, suffered a medical episode prior to the crash, troopers said Tuesday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"KCRFG2R3P5GILH4YGVKZ7PH73M\">An autopsy of the driver, Michael Paetow, revealed he suffered from extensive heart disease that caused him to have the medical episode, troopers said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"C6LOM5WG75ET5D6OI6LR63YWAQ\">There was no evidence of drugs or alcohol in his system, trooper said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"B52WPOBGFRFPLPZGKFEIFF4Y5I\">Paetow, 72, of Liverpool, died from electrical and blunt force injuries sustained in the collision, troopers said the autopsy showed. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"N6WLEL2A4ZEE3PDUY3T4PJLXUI\">Paetow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/news\/2024\/10\/multi-vehicle-crash-closes-moyers-corners-intersection-extent-of-injuries-unclear.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">died<\/a> in the crash on Oct. 13 at Route 31 and Route 57 (Oswego Road) in Clay. His Ford Mustang smashed into a Ford Escape in the intersection. <\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"Y3ZH4HH3XZGF7BXP2J2VLK7RHI\">A passenger in the Ford Escape, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.syracuse.com\/crime\/2024\/10\/police-release-names-of-2-people-killed-in-2-car-crash-at-busy-moyers-corners-intersection.html\">Dawn Brown, 58 of Mattydale<\/a>, died in the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph article__paragraph--left\" id=\"HMS5MM5DRREGZHX6RNKABMZFMQ\">Brown\u2019s niece, Shaylee A. Allen, 26, of Tully, was driving the Ford Escape. Allen and her 11-month-old daughter, Roxanne Rizzo, were injured in the crash.
