Westbrook grabbed his only offensive rebound of the game. With the Grizzlies still threatening, Saric knocked down a 3-pointer with 27.7 seconds left to preserve the Denver win.<\/p>\n<p>Westbrook said he wasn\u2019t thanking Saric for the miss that led to the triple-double.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thank him for making the next one to close the game, which is the most important,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Westbrook is 19 triple-doubles ahead of Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson<\/strong>, and 62 in front of Magic Johnson. His teammate \u2014 Nikola Jokic \u2014 is fourth with 136, followed by LeBron James at 117.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Career triple-doubles<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>1. LeBron James, 117<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt\u2019s a blessing,\u201d<\/strong> Westbrook said of reaching the milestone. \u201cI\u2019m truly grateful to be able to play the game (well enough) to do that. But I\u2019m also appreciative of the ones who came before me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Westbrook\u2019s teammates marveled at the accomplishment, not only the number of triple-doubles, but his longevity and the ability to reach such an accomplishment.<\/p>\n<p>Julian Strawther, the second-year guard out of Gonzaga, said Westbrook is a celebrity everywhere they go.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIt\u2019s hard to put into words,\u201d<\/strong> Strawther said. \u201cTwo hundred triple-doubles is a lot.
