{"id":128332,"date":"2024-11-21T07:39:42","date_gmt":"2024-11-21T00:39:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=128332"},"modified":"2024-11-21T07:39:42","modified_gmt":"2024-11-21T00:39:42","slug":"international-court-orders-israel-to-halt-offensive-in-rafah-bbc-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=128332","title":{"rendered":"International Court orders Israel to halt offensive in Rafah | BBC News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\"  width=\"580\" height=\"385\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9ZpLaspIpzs?autoplay=1&#038;cc_load_policy=1&#038;modestbranding=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><br \/>\n<br \/>The United Nations&#8217; top court has ruled that Israel must &#8220;immediately halt its military offensive&#8221; in Rafah in southern Gaza. <\/p>\n<p>The International Court of Justice, which decides disputes between countries, says &#8220;the catastrophic situation&#8221; in Gaza  had deteriorated and described humanitarian conditions in Rafah as &#8220;disastrous.&#8221; \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The judges also said the Rafah border crossing with Egypt must be opened for the entry of humanitarian aid &#8220;at scale\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>South Africa had asked the ICJ to make the order as an emergency measure, saying Israel\u2019s actions in Rafah amount to a \u201cgenocidal\u201d operation and threatened the survival of the Palestinian people.<\/p>\n<p>The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has again rejected allegations of genocide, calling them false and outrageous.
