Blue Lagoon will be closed today, Thursday, November 21, and we will reassess the situation throughout the day,&#8221; staff at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bluelagoon.com\/seismic-activity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blue Lagoon stated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Early indications from Iceland\u2019s national weather service suggested that the eruption was less extensive than previous events, with strong northerly winds carrying any gas emissions southward, over Grindav\u00edk and the ocean.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">&#8220;Initial reports of lava flow indicate that lava is moving westward, south of St\u00f3ra-Sk\u00f3gfell.
