Quarterback Baker Mayfield called it \u201chuge\u201d for the team to get Evans back because of how his presence changes the way defenses play them on a weekly basis. <\/p>\n<p>It also opens up the door for Evans to make a run at his 11th straight season with 1,000 receiving yards. Evans has 335 yards, so he\u2019d need to average 95 yards per game to reach the milestone and Mayfield said that it will be on everyone\u2019s mind without being their main focal point. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou guys have been around Mike for <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\"><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.buccaneers.com\/news\/baker-mayfield-getting-mike-evans-back-huge\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">long enough now<\/a><\/span>,\u201d Mayfield said, via the team\u2019s website. \u201cThe streak, yeah, it\u2019s important to us, but he cares about winning. He\u2019s a huge part of this offense when he\u2019s in there, so I think that will come naturally. But I\u2019ve been in a situation where you kind of force-feed the ball to a guy, and that\u2019s not how this offense works, especially. Staying true to reads.
