Nearly 7 million Americans have been diagnosed with dementia but <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/11\/19\/lifestyle\/the-dementia-symptom-that-can-show-up-a-decade-before-others\/\">researchers say<\/a> millions more likely have dementia symptoms but no formal diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p>For its part, broccoli contains glucosinolates, which transform into isothiocyanates when chewed. <a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/26254971\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-nyp-affiliate=\"true\">Isothiocyanates have been shown<\/a> to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation.
