and \u201cshould be framed and hung in the Louvre\u201d in a note to investors Thursday.<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->Ives, with his typical flair, also frequently refers to Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang as the \u201cGodfather of AI\u201d and the company&#8217;s latest Blackwell AI chip as the \u201cLeBron\u201d of semiconductors.<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->&#8220;We believe the path to $4 trillion market cap and beyond is now laid out by Nvidia and this is bullish for the broader tech rally into year-end and 2025,&#8221; Ives wrote elsewhere in his report.<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->Nvidia\u2019s financial results for the quarter ended Oct. 27 <a data-i13n=\"cpos:3;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/nvidia-stock-seesaws-following-earnings-beat-strong-outlook-as-age-of-ai-is-in-full-steam-143820941.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:topped expectations across the board;cpos:3;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">topped expectations across the board<\/a>.<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->And while other analysts didn\u2019t go so far as to recommend Nvidia\u2019s print as worthy of a fine art exhibition, analysts at investment firms including JPMorgan, DA Davidson, and Bernstein each raised their price targets on the stock following Wednesday&#8217;s report.<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->\u201cNVIDIA is well within its means to extend growth into next year given hyperscaler commentary around additional investments in AI compute and the company&#8217;s ability to deliver even with production setbacks,\u201d wrote DA Davidson analyst Gil Luria in his own note to investors Thursday.<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->Luria is relatively bearish on Nvidia and has cautioned about risks to the company\u2019s growth, including the <a data-i13n=\"cpos:4;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/qz.com\/ai-stocks-dot-com-bubble-nvidia-google-microsoft-amazon-1851407019\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:potential of an AI bubble;cpos:4;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">potential of an AI bubble<\/a> and Nvidia\u2019s <a data-i13n=\"cpos:5;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/qz.com\/nvidia-generative-ai-google-microsoft-meta-1851206854\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:high concentration of revenue among relatively few Big Tech customers;cpos:5;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">high concentration of revenue among relatively few Big Tech customers<\/a>. But following Nvidia\u2019s third quarter results, Luria raised his price target on the stock to $135 from $90, though he maintained his Neutral rating.<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->JPMorgan&#8217;s Harlan Sur reiterated his Buy rating on Nvidia shares and raised his price target to $170 from $155, noting continued strong demand for Nvidia&#8217;s Hopper chips even as tech firms race to buy its latest Blackwell lineup.<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->William Stein of Truist Securities, who also maintains a Buy rating on Nvidia stock, wrote in a note late Wednesday, \u201cNVDA remains *the* AI company owing to its culture of innovation, ecosystem of incumbency, and massive investment in software, pre-trained models, and services.\u201d<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->Despite the beat, shares of Nvidia were off about 1% on Thursday and lagging the broader market. Stein, for his part, countered any negative sentiment on the stock, writing, \u201cNVDA&#8217;s increased confidence in the Blackwell ramp should overwhelm the drag on the stock from a Q4 revenue guidance number that was just \u2018good\u2019 rather than \u2018great\u2019.\u201d<!-- HTML_TAG_END --><\/p>\n<p class=\"yf-1pe5jgt\"><!-- HTML_TAG_START -->Nvidia earlier this year delayed production of its latest Blackwell AI chips from the third quarter to the fourth quarter, given design flaws that the company said have <a data-i13n=\"cpos:6;pos:1\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/jensen-huang-tsmc-helped-fix-design-flaw-with-nvidias-blackwell-2024-10\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:since been resolved;cpos:6;pos:1;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">since been resolved<\/a>.
