lawsuit<\/a> against the once-rising Hollywood star after reaching a settlement.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez000073b6m5q9l0mo8@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Lawyers for Majors and Grace Jabbari agreed to dismiss the case with prejudice, according to a joint filing in Manhattan federal court Thursday.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez000083b6myup1fwvm@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Jabbari\u2019s lawyer said Friday that the suit was \u201cfavorably settled\u201d but declined to elaborate.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez000093b6mfx9vpy04@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            \u201cGrace Jabbari has exhibited tremendous courage throughout this very long and difficult process,\u201d attorney Brittany Henderson said in a statement. \u201cWe hope that she can finally put this chapter behind her and move forward with her head held high.\u201d\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez0000a3b6mnousnitl@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Representatives for Majors didn\u2019t respond to emails seeking comment Friday.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez0000b3b6mutozyf7o@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Jabbari, in her lawsuit filed in March, accused the 35-year-old Marvel and \u201cCreed III\u201d star of subjecting her to escalating incidents of physical and verbal abuse during their relationship, including assault, battery, defamation and infliction of emotional distress.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez0000c3b6mkch409cv@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            The British dancer filed the suit months after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2023\/12\/18\/entertainment\/jonathan-majors-trial-verdict\/index.html\">Majors was convicted<\/a> of misdemeanor assault and harassment in connection with an altercation in Manhattan.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez0000d3b6mpx8unihh@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            During a fight that began in the backseat of a chauffeured car before spilling out into the streets, Jabbari said Majors hit her head with his open hand, twisted her arm behind her back and squeezed her middle finger until it fractured.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez0000e3b6ms3v05fva@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Majors claimed Jabbari had flown into a jealous rage and was the aggressor and that he was only trying to regain his phone and get away safely.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez0000f3b6mfs3xuekf@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Majors avoided jail time but was ordered by a judge in April to complete a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/04\/08\/entertainment\/jonathan-majors-sentencing\/index.html#:~:text=Majors%2C%20a%20rising%20star%20who,one%20count%20of%20aggravated%20harassment\">yearlong counseling program<\/a>.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm3tkpez0000g3b6mdmne89oq@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Following the guilty verdict, Majors was immediately dropped by Marvel Studios, which had cast him as Kang the Conqueror, a role envisioned as the main villain in the entertainment empire\u2019s movies and television shows for years to come.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Majors and Jabbari had met in 2021 on the set of Marvel\u2019s \u201cAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania\u201d in which Majors played Kang and Jabbari served data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\">\n            Majors has slowly reemerged on the Hollywood scene in recent weeks.\n    <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph
