He was 83.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWoolery\u2019s passing was announced on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MarkYoungTruth\/status\/1860516705086157107?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1860516705086157107%7Ctwgr%5E16f5d483f4094ea72de06090beb1dff8fa91990a%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tmz.com%2F2024%2F11%2F23%2Fchuck-woolery-wheel-of-fortune-host-dead-dies%2F\" target=\"_blank\">X<\/a> by his longtime friend and<em> Blunt Forth Truth <\/em>podcast co-host Mark Young.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cIt is with a broken heart that I tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery has just passed away,\u201d he wrote. \u201cLife will not be the same without him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tYoung told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2024\/11\/23\/chuck-woolery-wheel-of-fortune-host-dead-dies\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TMZ<\/a> that Woolery died at his Texas home after experiencing trouble breathing. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWoolery, who started his career as a singer, was tapped to host <em>Wheel Of Fortune<\/em> when the show first launched in 1975. After hosting the program for six years, he was replaced by Pat Sajak.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<em>Love Connection<\/em> also launched in 1983 with Woolery as its first host, a job he held for 11 years. Other game shows he has hosted\/co-hosted through the years include <em>Scrabble<\/em> (1984\u20131990 and its short-lived 1993 revival),<em> Home &amp; Family <\/em>(1996\u20131998), T<em>he Dating Game<\/em> (1997\u20131999), <em>Greed<\/em> (1999\u20132000), and <em>Lingo<\/em> (2002\u20132007). He also hosted his own talk show, <em>The Chuck Woolery Show,<\/em> which had a brief run in 1991.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWoolery guest starred as himself on a number of series, including It\u2019s <em>Garry Shandling\u2019s Show, Melrose Place, Sister, Sister <\/em>and <em>Scrubs.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn 2012, he began hosting a nationally syndicated radio show, <em>Save Us Chuck Woolery<\/em>.
