class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Allison Pickard, from Newport Beach, California, revealed on <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ladbible.com\/social-media\">social media<\/a> that she\u2019d discovered a 4cm brain tumor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">This led to the pet sitter needing to undergo <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ladbible.com\/health\">surgery<\/a>, chemotherapy and radiation treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">The initial symptoms she felt were a throbbing headache and \u2018wobbly\u2019 vision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Allison told Kennedy News and Media: \u201cI thought that I was just hungover.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">\u201cMy vision was just in my peripheral anymore, I knew something was wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Upon paying a visit to her doctor, she received a MRI scan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Expecting to be told she had a vitamin deficiency or a headache condition, Allison was instead told she had a brain tumor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">This came after years of frequent headaches that she\u2019d blamed on PMS and caffeine withdrawals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">With no family history of <a class=\"anchor_link__6t7IO\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ladbible.com\/cancer\">cancer<\/a>, she\u2019d never considered these could be the symptoms of such a life threatening condition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">The tumor was on her occipital lobe and impacted her vision because her brain had swelled up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">A few days later, she underwent a three-hour operation in Loma Linda University Centre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">After that, she immediately began chemotherapy and radiation therapy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Allison\u2019s advice to others suffering with I definitely didn\u2019t expect it to be cancer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">\u201cYou never think it\u2019s going to be you, you think you have to be older or unhealthy to have health issues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Many people online have taken to her social media pages to offer their support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">One person commented: &#8220;God is gonna be your side always, you&#8217;re going to be okay.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Another wrote: &#8220;It&#8217;s okay to be sad, mad, angry. It&#8217;s okay to scream and cry. You earned every right to all those emotions, just don&#8217;t give up. You will come back stronger.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">Many people who had experience with cancer also weighed in with messages of support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text_text__nEn66\">&#8220;You got this&#8230;I am just reaching the end of my journey.
