The company&#8217;s more than 15,000 employees also get Black Friday as a paid day off.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/learn\/how-to-dress-warm-for-winter-weather-adventures\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>HOW TO DRESS WARMLY FOR WINTER WEATHER ADVENTURES<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">&#8220;The fact that we took what was ultimately our core being a retailer and said, \u2018No, we&#8217;re going to reprioritize things,\u2019 I think is just really special and shows the commitment to Opt Outside as a movement,&#8221; Frey said.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">For Frey, Black Friday no longer involves waking up early to prepare a store for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/holidays\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">holiday<\/a> shoppers. There&#8217;s just something special and energizing about that,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I think when you think about physical and mental <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">health<\/a>, there&#8217;s no better place to be than outside.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/how-to-watch-fox-weather-on-tv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>HOW TO WATCH FOX WEATHER<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">REI launched Opt Outside nearly a decade ago in 2015.
