Currently, <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/08\/30\/upshot\/wegovy-obesity-drugs-north-carolina.html\" title=\"\">only a handful do<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">C.M.S. estimates that around 3.4 million more patients in Medicare would become eligible for obesity drugs, and around four million patients in Medicaid would gain coverage, costing the programs billions of dollars.
