Both of these conditions can be signs of dangerously poor blood circulation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">&#8216;When circulation is impaired, it can reduce the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the skin cells, causing the skin to appear smooth, tight, and glossy in texture,&#8217; Dr Ashrafi told <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"class\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thesun.co.uk\/health\/31958713\/shiny-legs-sign-potentially-deadly-condition\/\">The Sun.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Several health conditions such as <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/health\/diabetes\/index.html\" id=\"mol-0427e110-acc2-11ef-bbd8-5994af61f6fb\" rel=\"noopener\">diabetes<\/a> and high blood pressure and lifestyle factors such as smoking, can put people at risk of shiny legs caused by poor circulation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"artSplitter mol-img-group\" style=\"style\" wp_automatic_readability=\"11\">\n<div class=\"mol-img\">\n<div class=\"image-wrap\"> <img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-58d2115900bd05de\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2024\/11\/27\/13\/92543629-14132143-image-a-1_1732712924950.jpg\" height=\"423\" width=\"634\" alt=\"PAD\u00a0causes a build-up of fatty deposits in the arteries restricting the blood supply to leg muscles.
