parents are going to court to fight over details of his estate and personal property.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly two years after <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2023\/02\/17\/kellie-picklers-husband-kyle-jacobs-dead-by-suicide-at-age-49\/\">Jacobs\u2019 February 2023 death<\/a>, Pickler reportedly filed a petition against Reed and Sharon Jacobs who serve as the co-administrators of Jacobs\u2019 estate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA dispute has arisen amongst the parties regarding certain personal property allegedly [Kyle\u2019s] possession prior to his death,\u201d according to the petition <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intouchweekly.com\/posts\/kellie-pickler-and-late-husbands-parents-fighting-in-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-nyp-affiliate=\"true\">obtained by InTouch Weekly<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>According to InTouch Weekly, Pickler reportedly filed a petition against Reed and Sharon Jacobs who serve as the size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cA dispute has arisen amongst the parties regarding certain personal property allegedly [Kyle\u2019s] possession prior to his death,\u201d the report obtained by the outlet on Wednesday read. <span class=\"credit\">Craig Barritt<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Pickler\u2019s legal team allegedly created a document titled \u201cList of Assets\u201d and stated that Kyle\u2019s parents \u201chave demanded \u2014 via a subpoena issued in the probate estate directed to [Pickler] \u2014 that [Pickler] deliver to the possession of their legal counsel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIncluded in the List of Assets are items that [Kellie] either does not have in her possession or over which right, title and possession are disputed,\u201d the 38-year-old\u2019s attorney continued.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d alum also claimed that Kyle\u2019s parents allegedly \u201centered [her] home and obtained items of personal property after [Kyle\u2019s] death.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Pickler\u2019s legal team wants Kyle\u2019s parents to provide a list of the items they allegedly took from her home that belonged to her late spouse. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>\u201cIncluded in the List of Assets are items that [Kellie] either does not have in her possession or over which right, title and possession are disputed,\u201d the 38-year-old\u2019s attorney said. <span class=\"credit\">FilmMagic<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Since Pickler was not provided with a list of the items that Reed and Sharon allegedly took, she is demanding that they produce a list of the items.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle\u2019s wife has also asked the court to help her \u201cresolve the fight\u201d over the personal property.<\/p>\n<p>The late songwriter\u2019s parents\u2019 subpoena sent to Pickler reportedly contains a list of personal items that belonged to their son. <\/p>\n<p>Some of the items in the list include: Kyle\u2019s gun collection, swords, a Rolex watch, a Garmin watch, a 1957 J45 Gibson guitar, a McPherson KOA Guitar, a plastic bin of baseball card albums, school awards, a Steinway Grand Model M piano and a over Kyle\u2019s work laptop, iPhone and hard drives.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle\u2019s parents responded to Pickler\u2019s petition by claiming that she has refused to turn over the property that belongs to his estate.<\/p>\n<p>They have also stated that she is \u201cpresently in violation of a Subpoena \u2026 issued to her for the return of the estate\u2019s property.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reed and his wife have stated that Pickler and her team have provided \u201cconflicting information regarding the location and rightful possession of the items listed.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image However, they stated it was \u201cat the express invitation of [Kellie] and her counsel whom they met to discuss the transfer of items belonging to the estate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reed and Sharon alleged that Pickler provided the items that they took and therefore do not need to provide her a list of said items. <\/p>\n<p>They have asked for Pickler\u2019s petition to be dismissed and the case remains ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle and Pickler tied the knot in 2011.
