The ETH annualized basis \u2013 the premium hedge funds get when they buy U.S spot ETH ETFs and short ETH Futures \u2013 also edged higher. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This trend has since outpaced the BTC pattern since the U.S elections, noted Coinbase research analyst David Han. Han <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/0xdavidhan\/status\/1861468022096945431\" data-wpel-link=\"external\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow external noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stated<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cCME ETH basis has recently expanded beyond BTC as well after trailing behind it for the past several months.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div id=\"attachment_447065\" style=\"width: 885px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a ETH\u2019s price, hedging strategies adopted by hedge funds can expose the asset to wild price swings accelerated by liquidations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That being said, ETH\u2019s growing momentum against BTC was also evident in the ETHBTC ratio, with the same tracking the altcoin\u2019s relative performance to BTC. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In fact, ETH has attracted more flows over the past seven days, as evidenced by the nearly 15% hike in the ETHBTC ratio.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_447066\" style=\"width: afterwards.
