Tickets remain on sale and there is no acknowledgement on the promoter\u2019s website that she has been refused entry to both countries.<\/p>\n<p>The commentator, who has more than 3 million followers on YouTube, is accused by her detractors of <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\"><a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/coronavirus-pandemic-health-media-lawsuits-delaware-893c9abd2dd94cf65e6975a440525f17\">promoting conspiracy theories<\/a><\/span> and antisemitism and has <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\"><a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/lawsuits-race-and-ethnicity-racial-injustice-connecticut-stamford-bd5c2e5b8bd7485f9f0d5b6e2f889be0\">ignited firestorms with her remarks<\/a><\/span> opposing Black Lives Matter, feminism, vaccines and immigration.<\/p>\n<p>In March, Owens said she had parted ways with the Daily Wire, on which <span class=\"LinkEnhancement\"><a class=\"Link AnClick-LinkEnhancement\" data-gtm-enhancement-style=\"LinkEnhancementA\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/donald-trump-entertainment-business-new-york-breonna-taylor-faa78abaed5ff00323d05e0c92a182eb\">she had hosted an online talk show since 2021<\/a><\/span>, after clashes with its founders over her remarks about Jews and her opposition to U.S. military support for Israel. She was widely criticized for comments in a YouTube video in July that minimized the Holocaust.<\/p>\n<p>Owens had promised Australian and New Zealand audiences a discussion of free speech and her Christian faith when she announced the speaking tour in August.<\/p>\n<p>But Australian officials banned her from the country in October, with Immigration Minister Tony Burke telling reporters Owens \u201chas the capacity to incite discord in almost every direction,\u201d citing her remarks about the Holocaust and about Muslims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAustralia\u2019s national interest is best served when Candace Owens is somewhere else,\u201d Burke said.
