According to the <em>Daily Mail<\/em>, he was <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/tvshowbiz\/article-14145961\/Elizabeth-Hurley-son-Damian-Lily-Collins-Vogue-Anna-Wintour-premiere-Devil-Wears-Prada-Musical-London.html\" target=\"_blank\">assisted off stage<\/a> by his husband David Furnish.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cTo my husband who\u2019s been my rock because I haven\u2019t been able to come to many of the previews,\u201d he added, per the <em>Daily Mail.<\/em> \u201cIt\u2019s hard for me to see it but I love to hear it and it sounded good tonight. Thank you for coming!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLast week, the five-time Grammy winner <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/GMA\/Culture\/video\/elton-john-opens-losing-eyesight-116194180\" target=\"_blank\">revealed<\/a> to ABC News\u2019 Robin Roberts that his eyesight had deteriorated and that plans for a new album were put on hold as a result of the health issue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been a while since I\u2019ve done anything,\u201d he said. \u201cI just have to get off my backside. I unfortunately lost my eyesight in my right eye in July because I had an infection in the south of France. And it\u2019s been four months now since I haven\u2019t been able to see. And my left eye is not the greatest. So there\u2019s hope and encouragement that it will be OK, but I\u2019m kind of stuck at the moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHe continued, \u201cBecause I can do something like this [interview], but going into the studio and recording \u2014 I don\u2019t know, because I can\u2019t see a lyric for a start. We\u2019re taking an initiative to try and get it better, but at the moment that\u2019s really what we\u2019re concentrating on. It\u2019s never fortunate for anything like this to happen.
