{"id":132822,"date":"2024-12-03T12:08:46","date_gmt":"2024-12-03T05:08:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=132822"},"modified":"2024-12-03T12:08:46","modified_gmt":"2024-12-03T05:08:46","slug":"son-passes-away-at-birth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hotvideos24.online\/?p=132822","title":{"rendered":"Son passes away at birth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <script async src=\"https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js?client=ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     crossorigin=\"anonymous\"><\/script>\r\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\"\r\n     style=\"display:block\"\r\n     data-ad-format=\"fluid\"\r\n     data-ad-layout-key=\"-fb+5w+4e-db+86\"\r\n     data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3711241968723425\"\r\n     data-ad-slot=\"7910942971\"><\/ins>\r\n<script>\r\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\r\n<\/script><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Heartbreak has struck the 49ers family again with the news that the newborn son of left tackle Trent Williams died on Nov. 24.<\/p>\n<p>Sondra Williams, the wife of the 49ers\u2019 tackle, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/yoginisdww\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said in an Instagram post<\/a>\u00a0the baby had been diagnosed with Trisomy 13 \u2014 a rare genetic condition \u2014 and that a twin daughter had been lost earlier in the pregnancy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy Forever Angel, Trenton O\u2019Brien Williams Jr. \u00a0It\u2019s been extremely hard trying to process the saddest Hello and Goodbye that I\u2019ve ever had to endure,\u201d Sondra Williams wrote. \u201cMy first born and only son, I\u2019ve always wanted you. But God wanted and needed you more . . .\u00a0I\u2019m at peace knowing you will never have to suffer. Although I will never hear your soft coos and cries or see those beautiful little eyes staring up at me, I am grateful to God for the time I shared with you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed the painful news Monday on a conference call with reporters, saying Trent Williams \u201cwas at the hospital with her and got to meet him and say bye. Then he had to cremate him on Friday. He\u2019s been dealing with it and working through it. We\u2019re all just trying to be here for him through it all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The time of death, according to Sondra Williams, was at 11:38 p.m. on Nov. 24 \u2014 five weeks before the due date. Trent Williams did not travel that day for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2024\/11\/24\/instant-analysis-of-49ers-38-10-blowout-loss-to-green-bay\/\">49ers\u2019 game against the Green Bay Packers<\/a> and was scratched from the lineup after being listed as questionable to play during the week.<\/p>\n<p>Williams was at the club facility last week but did not travel to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2024\/12\/01\/instant-analysis-of-49ers-snow-covered-35-10-loss-to-buffalo-bills\/\">49ers\u2019 35-10 road loss to the Buffalo Bills<\/a> and was listed as out with an ankle injury. He has been on the injury report with the ankle issue since their Week 10 win over Tampa Bay.<\/p>\n<p>It is the second tragedy to hit a 49ers player in less than a month. The daughter of Charvarius \u201cMooney\u201d Ward <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mercurynews.com\/2024\/10\/29\/49ers-cornerback-charvarius-ward-mourns-toddler-daughters-death\/\">passed away at 23 months<\/a> on Oct. 28. Amani Joy Ward, born with Down syndrome, had dealt with health issues including heart surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Ward played for the first time since his daughter\u2019s death against Buffalo.<\/p>\n<p>Shanahan addressed the difficulty of dealing with real-life tragedy but believes a football team can provide some relief.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s hard as a coach, it\u2019s hard as a friend, it\u2019s hard as a family member, it\u2019s hard for everybody,\u201d Shanahan said. \u201cBut we spend a lot of time together and that\u2019s what\u2019s cool about a football team. Whatever you go through, the good or the bad, we go through it together . . . you can never escape that full grief, but I do think it\u2019s nice for those guys to have another avenue to get on the field, be around their teammates.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shanahan said he was proud of Ward for getting on the field.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was hard and I\u2019m sure he didn\u2019t always want to do it, but he got through the week of practice, got through the game and I think that was a real step for him just going forward with his life,\u201d Shanahan said. \u201cThat\u2019s the thing everybody\u2019s got to do in those situations.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"related left\"\/>\n<p>Williams, 36, is an 11-time Pro Bowl selection with Washington and the 49ers and earned a contract extension during a training camp holdout to make him the NFL\u2019s highest-paid left tackle.
