The footage appears to show someone removing a joycon from the side of the Switch 2 screen by simply pulling it off. The controllers themselves seem to sport infrared sensors (on both the left and right joycons) and bigger shoulder buttons. This matches <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/switch-2-images-have-allegedly-leaked-suggesting-powerful-leap-forward-for-nintendo\/1100-6526551\/\" data-ref-id=\"1100-6526551\">previous leaks<\/a>, which suggested that the Switch 2 would have magnetic joycons and a more complex controller layout, though it would also maintain the same basic design as the original Switch. Nintendo has confirmed that an official announcement of the Switch 2 will arrive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/nintendo-switch-successor-will-be-revealed-by-april-2025\/1100-6523222\/\" data-ref-id=\"1100-6523222\">before April 2025<\/a>. The console was previously rumored to release in 2024, but reports early this year claimed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/nintendo-switch-2-might-now-release-in-2025-report\/1100-6521168\/\" data-ref-id=\"1100-6521168\">it had been delayed<\/a>. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/switch-2-release-date-specs-display-price\/1100-6520278\/\" data-ref-id=\"1100-6520278\">Switch 2 specs<\/a> are still up in the air, though a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/possible-nintendo-switch-2-details-continue-to-emerge\/1100-6518945\/\" data-ref-id=\"1100-6518945\">Digital Foundry report<\/a> claimed that the system would use an Nvidia custom T239 processor. Nintendo recently confirmed that the successor will be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gamespot.com\/articles\/switch-2-will-play-switch-1-games-nintendo-confirms\/1100-6527598\/\" data-ref-id=\"1100-6527598\">backwards compatible<\/a>. Nintendo Switch Online will also carry over to the new system.
