A weapon was found near his body, which was discovered at his parents home in the Cotswolds. <\/p>\n<p>Thomas was 45.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston on their wedding day in May 2019. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lady Gabriella, who is King Charles\u2019 second cousin, addressed his last \u201cimpulsive\u201d act in an emotional witness statement read aloud at Gloucestershire Coroner\u2019s Court on Dec. 3, according to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/royal-family\/2024\/12\/03\/lady-gabriella-windsor-thomas-kingston-took-own-life\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">The Telegraph<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt appears to me Tom\u2019s impulsive action was likely provoked by an adverse reaction to the medication he had been taking in the last two weeks of his life,\u201d Lady Gabriella\u2019s statement reportedly read.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The pair kiss after exchanging vows. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lady Gabriella Kingston attends day one of Royal Ascot 2024 at Ascot Racecourse on June 18. <span class=\"credit\">WireImage<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lady Gabriella, who was allegedly sobbing as her words were read, said her husband had never expressed thoughts of suicide during their relationship to her or others, reported <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellomagazine.com\/royalty\/733554\/thomas-kingston-lady-gabriella-emotionally-exhausting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hello!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>While she acknowledged that \u201c[work] was certainly a challenge for him over the years,\u201d Thomas\u2019 wife said,  \u201cI highly doubt it would have led him to take his own life, and it seemed much improved.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her statement allegedly continued, \u201cIf anything had been troubling him, I\u2019m positive that he would have shared that he was struggling severely. Thomas had previously dated Kate Middleton\u2019s sister, Pippa, 41. <\/p>\n<p id=\"gmail-mntl-sc-block_1-0\">Buckingham Palace <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/02\/28\/entertainment\/thomas-kingstons-final-days-before-death-with-wife-lady-gabriella-revealed\/\">announced his death<\/a> on Feb. 27.<\/p>\n<p id=\"gmail-mntl-sc-block_1-0-8\">\u201cIt is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Kingston, our beloved husband, son and brother\u200b,\u201d the royal family\u2019s statement on behalf of Lady Gabriella, Martin and Jill Kingston, Joanna Connolly and Emma Murray read at the time, calling it a \u201cgreat shock.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Prince William attended Thomas Kingston\u2019s funeral. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p id=\"gmail-mntl-sc-block_1-0-8\">\u201cTom was an exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him. His death has come as a great shock to the whole family, and we ask you to respect our privacy as we mourn his passing\u200b.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p id=\"gmail-mntl-sc-block_1-0-8\">Prince William\u00a0represented the family <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/03\/12\/entertainment\/prince-william-attends-thomas-kingston-funeral-after-death\/\">at Thomas\u2019\u00a0private funeral<\/a>\u00a0in March.
