I think I got dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/jason-sudeikis\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jason-sudeikis\" data-tag=\"jason-sudeikis\">Jason Sudeikis<\/a> shared a similar sentiment about his \u201cSNL\u201d salary, saying, \u201cI mean, you don\u2019t make enough money to make big purchases, so I think New York rent was probably the biggest purchase I made after writing my first year on \u2018SNL.&#8217;\u201d He was hired as a writer in 2003 and later worked as a cast member for nine seasons from 2005 to 2013. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOther former and current \u201cSNL\u201d cast members in the video include James Austin Johnson, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Sarah Silverman, Sarah Sherman, Cheri Oteri, Seth Meyers, Bowen Yang and Rachel Dratch. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI bought a pair of shoes that were out of my budget,\u201d Louis-Dreyfus revealed. \u201cI\u2019m going to tell you, they were $75.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tYang also indulged in a pair of shoes, saying in the video, \u201cGoing to Saks across the street, buying a pair of Gucci shoes. The kind that everyone got, and the kind I wouldn\u2019t feel super cool wearing out now.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tSome said they used their first paycheck to buy furniture, including Johnson, Meyers and Oteri. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cA couch. I have gotten it reupholstered three or four times,\u201d Oteri replied. \u201cI remember a designer coming over in tears, and he goes, \u2018OK, those arms are too high. We have to get \u2026 We\u2019re going to get rid of that couch.\u2019 I said, \u2018Oh no. No, you\u2019re not. Not today, Satan. No, the couch is staying. You\u2019re going.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cSaturday Night Live\u201d is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a live primetime special on Feb. 16.
