The total cost of those pizzas today: $1 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Bitcoin now stands as arguably the most successful investment product of the last 20 years. The value of all the coins in circulation is $2 trillion, <a class=\"css-yywogo\" href=\"https:\/\/companiesmarketcap.com\/\" title=\"\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">more than the combined worth<\/a> of Mastercard, Walmart and JPMorgan Chase. The motley assortment of hackers and political radicals who embraced Bitcoin when it was created by an anonymous coder in 2008 have become millionaires many times over.
