Apple now provides a choice.<\/p>\n<p>Inside Settings \u21fe Photos there\u2019s a new toggle: Loop Videos.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s still on by default, but if you hate the looping behavior, a quick flip of the switch will change that.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-swipe-to-go-back\">#3: Swipe to go back<\/h2>\n<p>When navigating the various Collections offered by iOS 18\u2019s Photos app, you previously had to hit the back button in the top-left corner to go back. This was especially a pain on larger iPhones.<\/p>\n<p>In iOS 18.2, a swipe gesture has been added for navigating out of a Collection view. They let you quickly see what you\u2019ve recently viewed and also items you\u2019ve shared with others.<\/p>\n<p>In iOS 18.2, for the first time you can clear the history in both of these albums.<\/p>\n<p>To remove an individual item, you can long-press it and remove it from the pop-up menu. Or, there\u2019s also a \u2018Remove All\u2019 option from the album\u2019s three-dot menu in the top-right corner.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ios-18-2-photos-changes-wrap-up\">iOS 18.2 Photos changes: wrap-up<\/h2>\n<p>iOS 18 was a major redesign for one of Apple\u2019s most popular apps, so it\u2019s unsurprising that users have had trouble adapting to some changes. It\u2019s good to see Apple respond to users\u2019 feedback and implement some quality-of-life upgrades in iOS 18.2 that make Photos work better than before.<\/p>\n<p>What do you think of the Photos changes?
