social media as \u201cHawk Tuah Girl,\u201d has capitalized on her recent fame in numerous ways, <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/12\/05\/business\/hawk-tuah-girl-haliey-welch-launches-cryptocurrency-which-crashes-shortly-after-launch\/\">but her latest attempt crashed and burned<\/a> before it could even take off.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Welch launched her own cryptocurrency Wednesday, and it had a pretty good surge just hours into the launch, hitting a market cap of $490 million,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cointelegraph.com\/news\/hawk-tuah-memecoin-dumps-90-percent-outrage-token-launch-insider\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">according to Cointelegraph,<\/a>\u00a0which cited data from DexScreener.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, within hours, the coin known as Hawk plummeted to just $41.7 million in valuation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With controversy swirling around the coin, Spiranac posted on X with a slight jab at Welch and her team.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf I\u2019ve learned anything, it\u2019s to never release a memecoin,\u201d the post said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Bubblemaps, a site that analyzes data from the blockchain, found a few people owned the vast majority of Hawk, which led to controversy about \u201csnipers,\u201d or investors who move quickly to buy a majority
