He\u2019s sucking up all the fucking energy in this room. He wants to mansplain everybody\u2019s part to them.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDirected by Scott Ellis and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, the Roundabout Theatre Company production starred Benanti and Levi opposite Jane Krakowski, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/gavin-creel\/\" id=\"auto-tag_gavin-creel_1\" data-tag=\"gavin-creel\">Gavin Creel<\/a>, Byron Jennings, Tom McGowan, Peter Bartlett, Nicholas Barasch and others. The story centered on two shop employees, played by Benanti and Levi, who, despite being consistently at odds with each other at work, are unaware that each is the other\u2019s secret pen pal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tBenanti did not mince words by claiming that Levi, \u201creally sucked everybody in with his, like, dance party energy. Like, \u2018We\u2019re doing a dance party at half-hour.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Good luck. Have fun.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe conversation then turned to Creel. The beloved Broadway veteran died in September at the age 48, following a brief battle with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/lifestyle\/arts\/gavin-creel-dead-tony-winner-hello-dolly-1236017921\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a rare and aggressive form of cancer<\/a>, metastatic melanotic peripheral nerve sheath sarcoma.
