Benanti opened up about the ill feelings she maintains about her former co-star this week on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=wZucSmtHf_8\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">That\u2019s a Gay Ass Podcast<\/a>, hosted by Eric Williams.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI never liked him. Everyone was like, \u2018He\u2019s so great!\u2019 And I was like, \u2018No, he\u2019s not. He\u2019s sucking up all the fucking energy in this room. He wants to mansplain everybody\u2019s part to them,&#8217;\u201d Benanti said. \u201cHe really sucked everybody in with his dance party energy, like, \u2018We\u2019re doing a dance party at half-hour.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Good luck, have fun.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBenanti\u2019s criticism of Levi reached an emotional peak when the conversation touched on their \u201cShe Loves Me\u201d co-star Gavin Creel, who<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/legit\/news\/gavin-creel-dead-broadway-hair-hello-dolly-1236160081\/\"> died<\/a> in September at the age of 48. The Tony Award winner, whose Broadway credits also included \u201cHair,\u201d \u201cHello, Dolly\u201d and \u201cInto the Woods,\u201d died of a metastatic melanotic peripheral nerve sheath sarcoma. Speaking about Creel\u2019s death on Instagram in October, Levi floated an unscientific theory tied to COVID vaccinations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cI know that this is going to offend some people and make some people mad, and I wish it didn\u2019t. A few weeks ago, my friend Gavin Creel died.
