He was 77.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe actor\u2019s daughter Jessie Withers announced on Friday that her father died on Nov. 22 after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cHe confronted his illness with the same strength and dignity he brought to his craft, creating a legacy of warmth, humor, and dedication, along with his remarkable ability to make every role unforgettable,\u201d said Jesse in a statement to <em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2024\/legit\/news\/mark-withers-dead-dynasty-1236241755\/\">Variety<\/a><\/em>. \u201cMark\u2019s enduring talent and commitment to the industry will be fondly remembered by colleagues, friends, and fans alike.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn 1981, Mark had a six-episode arc on the first season of <em>Dynasty<\/em> as Steve Carrington\u2019s (Al Corley) lover Ted Dinard, who meets an untimely demise that nearly breaks the Carrington family apart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHis other TV credits include episodes of <em>Wonder Woman<\/em>, <em>Magnum P.I.<\/em>, <em>The Dukes of Hazzard<\/em>, <em>Remington Steele<\/em>, <em>Hill Street Blues<\/em>, <em>Dallas<\/em>, <em>Days of Our Lives<\/em>, <em>L.A.
